I heartily agree that Lawrence of Arabia is the greatest film ever made, an epic that took 2 years of location shooting in Morocco to complete. I also have T.E. Lawrence's _Seven Pillars of Wisdom_, a deluxe illustrated 1935 edition found in a tiny bookstore in a remote California desert village. (copies are readily available on eBay) The film is very faithful to the book.
