I listened to this on my way home from studying communism at fag school and it was enlightening. I'm less gay now.

As an American, I don't see annexation of Canada happening. I think Trump was just talking his shit so to speak. While it's funny to think about Emperor Trump launching a Special Military Operation to de-gayify and de-militarize Canada, it's not happening. The only way it happens is if it's truly the will of Canadians to be annexed, and it's basically offered up to Trump on a plater, in which case he would definitely accept. Who knows, maybe it would be a good thing, seeing the North American Empire come to fruition. But it's a fantasy.

Either JC is stuck in some sort of MAGA echo chamber or he is being paid by it. Way too much confidence and exuberance. Drunk on ‘vibes’, maybe? Idk. But he ought to be more prudent.

Well it's exceeding my expectations so far. If anything, Trump's justification is that right now, he is demonstrating how much can be done as long as you have power, even if what's being done isn't meeting our standards. And it's not Trump himself that justifies MAGA, it's the fact that an actual rightward shift is happening. And this is playing out in many places. I'm kinda of relating this to Nietzsche's quote on the French revolution. The revolutions justification being that it made Napoleon possible.

There are many lessons that can be learned from Trump's implementation of his Art of the Deal in the context of political limitation to his executive authority, i.e Trump's version of realpolitik

That was a fascinating listen, and I notice a lot of parallels between Canada and Australia, allowing for geography.
